I've been an artist, developer and animator for over 16 years, working primarily in the Boston area. I've had the privilege of working for some of the best companies and clients in the world. While this website will certainly showcase some of the things I've been up to in my professional life, here are a few random facts that may offer a window into my personality...
Last Christmas my daughter asked Santa for a very specific puppet...which of course was not available in stores. The big guy would need a little help on this one, so I found some patterns and tutorials straight from Jim Henson's Muppet Workshop and got to work. I had long heard whispers of a mysterious "Henson Stitch", and vowed that one day I would obtain this knowledge to construct my own muppet. I wanted this little guy to be 100% authentic, and after a week of late nights and injured fingers he was ready and waiting under our tree. Unfortunately all the glory goes to Santa and his elves on this one!
Halloween is my favorite holiday, I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and I love a good challenge. So when coming up with an idea for our company Halloween costume contest I decided to go big: Boba Fett, who has perhaps the most complex costume in the entire original Star Wars trilogy. I had my work cut out for me! Thanks to the Museum of Science I was able to view and photograph the original Boba Fett costume from the movies, so rest assured every scratch, ding, and blemish was pain-stakingly recreated. My efforts were rewarded with first prize. Perhaps I should add "Intergalactic Bounty Hunter" to my resume…
Hockey for me is a lifelong passion, and after a busy day nothing feels better than hitting the ice with my linemates to hopefully score a few goals for the team. Building a rink in my backyard has become an annual tradition, where friends and family are invited to sit by the campfire with a cup of hot chocolate, lace on some skates and hit the ice for some good old fashioned pond hockey.
I love learning new skills. I go the extra mile for the things I'm passionate about. And nothing is more rewarding than working with a talented team with similar goals to accomplish great things.
